De unieke sfeer in de smalle middeleeuwse straatjes of op het levendige marktplein met zijn caf\u00e9s nodigen uit tot flaneren en genieten. In de winter vindt op het marktplein een zeer gezellige kerstmarkt plaats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Wernigerode<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wernigerode ligt op 35 minuten met de auto van Hohegei\u00df en aan de noordelijke rand van het Harzgebergte. De aanblik van Wernigerode met zijn centrum van voornamelijk vakwerkhuizen getuigt van de geschiedenis van deze stad. Het mooie stadhuis werd waarschijnlijk in de 13e eeuw gebouwd. Het is een van de mooiste stadhuizen van Europa. Een andere bezienswaardigheid is het kasteel van Wernigerode, dat boven de stad uittorent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Quedlinburg<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quedlinburg ligt op ongeveer een uur rijden van Berghotel Hohegeiss en is een van de mooiste vakwerkstadjes van Duitsland. De middeleeuwse binnenstad van Quedlinburg is bijna volledig bewaard gebleven en staat terecht op de Werelderfgoedlijst.
